Officer identity pending confirmation
Indian intermediary rules require a specific, named individual to be published as Grievance Officer. We have left this field marked for our team to complete with a real name and designation rather than publish a placeholder as fact; until it is filled in, please use the email and phone details above, which are live and monitored.
2. What you can raise here
- Content grievances: a valuer listing, comment, or other content on the Platform that you believe is inaccurate, unlawful, infringes your rights, or should not be hosted
- Data / privacy grievances: how we collected, used, shared, secured or retained your personal data, or a request to access, correct, erase or port it under the DPDP Act
- Service grievances: a complaint about your experience using the Platform, a valuer you were introduced to, or a listing decision (approval, rejection, pause or removal) you disagree with
3. How to raise a grievance
- Write to us. Email valuerdekho@gmail.com with "Grievance" in the subject line, or message us on WhatsApp.
- Tell us what happened. Include the page or listing URL if relevant, your account email if you have one, what went wrong, and what outcome you are asking for.
- We acknowledge. We aim to acknowledge every grievance within 24 hours of receiving it.
- We investigate and respond. We aim to resolve or substantively respond to content and service grievances within 15 days, in line with the timelines set out under the IT Rules, 2021. Data grievances are handled within a reasonable time as required under the DPDP Act; some requests (for example, verifying identity before an erasure) may take a little longer.
4. Content takedown requests
If you are asking us to remove or correct a specific piece of content (for example, a valuer listing that misrepresents a registration, or content you believe is unlawful or infringes your rights), please include the exact URL, the specific text or claim you are disputing, and, where relevant, evidence supporting your request (such as a screenshot or a document). We will review the request and take appropriate action, which may include correcting, pausing or removing the content, or explaining why we have decided not to.
5. Data Principal grievances (DPDP Act, 2023)
If your complaint is about how we process your personal data, please first raise it with us using the contact details above, describing what data is involved and what you would like us to do (see also "Your rights as a Data Principal" in our Privacy Policy). If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the complaint to the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational and accepting complaints, in accordance with the DPDP Act.
6. Consumer complaints
As a platform that helps you discover independent service providers, we also aim to comply with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. If your grievance is not resolved to your satisfaction through the process above, you may also approach the National Consumer Helpline or the consumer forum having jurisdiction over your matter, without prejudice to the dispute-resolution process in our Terms of Service.
7. What we cannot resolve
We are not a party to the engagement, fee, or contract between you and a valuer you chose. Disputes about the quality, timing or outcome of a specific valuation or certificate are between you and that valuer or firm; we can help by removing or pausing a listing where the evidence supports it, but we cannot arbitrate, refund, or compensate for that engagement ourselves. See our Valuer Partner Terms for the obligations we do place on listed valuers.
