Can a valuer value my property without me being in India?
Yes. A relative, tenant or society office provides access; documents are shared online; the report is issued in your name.
Do I need a power of attorney for a valuation?
No. A POA is needed only if someone signs a sale agreement or deed for you. See the POA guide for remote sales.
Which currency will the report show?
INR with the equivalent in USD, CAD, GBP, AUD, EUR, NZD, AED or SGD at the RBI reference rate on the report date.
How do I compare valuers from abroad?
On registration type and number, purposes certified, inspection policy, fee in writing, turnaround, courier and dual-currency capability, sample report quality, revision policy and dated reviews. ValuerDekho shows these side by side.

Visa and immigration reports ₹6,000–₹10,000; capital gains reports ₹10,000–₹20,000; bank and mortgage reports from ₹10,000. Add 18% GST. International courier is ₹1,500–₹3,500 on top, and a CA net-worth certificate ₹6,000–₹10,000 if your case needs one.
